Stord Acquires AMS Fulfillment, Enhancing Its Market-Leading Scale and Network Coverage

The company’s largest acquisition to date adds over 10 million orders annually as Stord accelerates investment in its network, applied AI, and robotics.

ATLANTA, October 21, 2026 — Stord, the physical intelligence layer for independent commerce, today announced it has acquired AMS Fulfillment, a third-party logistics provider that processes more than 10 million orders per year for leading premium beauty, wellness, and high-velocity direct-to-consumer brands. The deal is Stord’s largest acquisition to date, adding over 1 million square feet across key East and West Coast hubs, including the Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and Philadelphia metro areas, and bringing millions of annual orders onto Stord’s platform. Stord’s global network now spans more than 100 locations.

The acquisition is the latest milestone in a year of significant growth for Stord. The company secured a $400 million credit facility led by Citi in October, following a $250 million Series F in May at a $3 billion valuation. With the Series F, Stord launched Stord Labs, its dedicated robotics deployment arm and data foundry. Stord is using the capital to expand its fulfillment network across the U.S. and internationally, and to accelerate its investment in robotics and AI at Stord Labs.

Stord has grown 10x over the past four years. It processes over $15 billion in GMV annually for more than 1,000 brands and reaches roughly one in four U.S. households. Stord’s network generates more than 8 billion data points each year, which feed its AI and automation. Stord is also increasingly serving high-order-value brands, giving them the speed and reliability shoppers expect from the largest marketplaces while keeping the personal touches that set them apart.

“In modern commerce, what happens after checkout has become as important to consumer trust as the product itself,” said Sean Henry, CEO and Co-Founder of Stord. “We have spent a decade building the leading fulfillment network and end-to-end commerce platform, leveling the playing field for brands with Prime-like speed and reliability. This year, Stord has added the scale, leadership, network infrastructure, capital, and technology to extend that experience. AMS further accelerates our scale, while bringing some of the most discerning brands in the industry onto our platform. In commerce, scale drives lower costs, faster speeds, and more trust with consumers—powering Stord’s flywheel. This deal spins our flywheel even faster, and we are entering peak shipping season with more capabilities, intelligence, and momentum than at any point in our history.”

For more than 20 years, AMS has provided white-glove commerce services to leading retailers and brands. Select AMS facilities already run automated put walls and sortation, complementing recent investments from Stord Labs and giving Stord automated capacity to deploy new robotics and AI. Over time, AMS customers will benefit from the scale of Stord’s full network and parcel program, along with the AI and vertically integrated technology that make Stord’s operations smarter, faster, and more cost-effective.

“Premium brands have always understood that fulfillment is part of the product, and AMS was built to honor that,” said Greg Morello, Chief Executive Officer of AMS Fulfillment. “Stord shares that conviction and brings the network, intelligence, technology, automation, and investment to deliver it at a level few to nobody in the industry can match. Our customers get everything that made AMS great, now backed by the scale and technology to take it further.”

AMS is Stord’s twelfth acquisition and the latest in a disciplined network expansion strategy that includes Shipwire from CMA CGM, Ware2Go from UPS, and Pitney Bowes’ e-commerce fulfillment business.
