ATLANTA -- This week Stord announces that Brian Murphy, formerly the Vice President of Sales at a major logistics and transportation company, is joining Stord as their new Vice President of Sales.
Since announcing the Cloud Supply Chain earlier this year, Stord has experienced an increased demand for the logistics services provided through its cloud software platform. With his years of experience in supply chain sales and services, Brian will support Stord’s new and existing customers as they launch additional warehousing, fulfillment and freight initiatives. This role will work closely alongside the warehouse excellence, operations management, and transportation supply chain teams to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
Brian comes to Stord with over 25 years of sales leadership experience, most recently at Ryder Supply Chain Solutions. As their Vice President of Sales, Brian was responsible for managing warehousing, fulfillment and transportation sales to e-commerce and retail verticals, as well as helping lead the company’s market strategy for e-commerce product development. Prior to Ryder, Brian was Senior Director of Business Development at XPO Logistics, where he led business development campaigns for the organization before becoming Sr. Director of Business Development for emerging markets, responsible for growth strategy and team development.
