Stord Launches Multiple AI Solutions, Improving In-Cart Conversion, Operations and Time Management

With more than 60% of U.S. consumers using AI tools, e-commerce brands need an integrated AI approach to meet expectations and grow market share.

ATLANTA, February 2, 2026Stord, The Consumer Experience Company powering commerce across seamless pre-purchase, checkout, delivery, and post-purchase for today’s leading brands, announced today multiple e-commerce specific AI solutions - AI-Powered Estimated Delivery Date, Intelligent Order and Inventory Summary, Workflow Automations, Instant Shipping Codes - aimed at improving conversions and operational efficiencies. All of these tools are available or in early access today, many provided free of charge to Stord fulfillment customers, and set the stage for an ambitious roadmap of more products throughout the year and beyond.

AI-Powered Estimated Delivery Date

Nearly 70.19% of all e-commerce carts are abandoned, and 12% are due to unclear delivery dates. Brands are struggling to accurately communicate their delivery promises despite massive expenditures to unlock faster delivery.

Stord’s AI-powered estimated delivery date (EDD) solution improves add-to-cart conversion, in-cart conversion, and delights e-commerce end consumers with simple and transparent delivery promises. Based on industry averages, by correcting and articulating a more accurate delivery promise brands can potentially recapture 5-10% of abandoned cart revenue from their online storefront.

Intelligent Order and Inventory Analysis

E-commerce brands are inundated with data across their orders and inventory records. A typical retailer can carry approximately 10,000 SKUs in inventory and over 43% of small brands do not track inventory in real time. These problems compound as brands scale their customer base and their product lines. Stord AI now offers intuitive insights and summaries for both orders and inventory down to the SKU. With one click of their mouse, operators get brief summaries detailing what happened to any order or current inventory status with quick hit suggestions on any necessary next steps. Workflow Automations

As brands grow they often implement dozens if not hundreds of workflows to help manage every edge case in the fulfillment process. These rules operate to automatically determine how each and every order is fulfilled down to the shipping label and branded insert. 

With Stord AI, brands can now quickly review, diagnose, and understand which workflows impacted any order. In time, brands will be able to more efficiently create exception logic, assess effectiveness of their workflows, and build new rules using natural language.

Instant Product Compliance Recommendations

During the preparation phase of a new product, brands are legally required to have accurate product codes and information for importing, taxes, consumer safety, shipment requirements, and more. Traditionally, brands had to endure a lengthy validation process, reviewing and checking every hazmat, harmonizing, and shipping code. Inaccurate codes can expose brands to fines and blocked deliveries.

Stord AI is designed to help brands by allowing them to simply enter their product description language, then reads, assesses, and suggests potential codes for review and approval. Stord AI also scans product summaries and associated codes and suggests corrections if any potential discrepancies are identified. Through this process, brands can improve compliance efforts without massive time expenditures or complex knowledge of nuanced code requirements.
