Stord Recognized as BODYARMOR’s Best New Carrier of the Year 2021

Atlanta, GA, October 27, 2022Stord, the Cloud Supply Chain leader, has been recognized by premium sports drink company BODYARMOR as “Best New Carrier of the Year 2021.” To support its hypergrowth, BODYARMOR expanded its freight provider network from three to 50+ providers to boost its operational efficiency. Stord stood out as its best new partner, supporting BODYARMOR’s rapid growth by providing efficient and flexible freight support.

BODYARMOR was fully acquired by The Coca-Cola Company in November 2021. That led to massive expansion for the brand across the nation. To deliver a consistent, high value customer experience, BODYARMOR bolstered investment in logistics and transportation partners to overcome growing pains and mitigate potential supply chain disruption.

According to the 27th annual Third-Party Logistics Study, “Back to Basics,” companies have increased outsourcing operational activities, functions, and processes in their supply chains. In fact, 55% of companies report increasing their use of outsourced logistics services. And for direct-to-consumer (DTC) and omni-channel brands, it is critical to find a partner that best fits your business needs and delivers a high-value customer experience.

Stord delivers best-in-class supply chain physical services including warehousing, freight, and fulfillment combined and integrated with end-to-end visibility, orchestration, and optimization through its Stord One Commerce software.

“We are honored to be recognized as BODYARMOR’s best new carrier,” said Sean Henry, co-founder and CEO of Stord. “We recognize the importance of finding the right strategic partner to support your supply chain and are excited to continue delivering best-in-class freight and software support for BODYARMOR as it expands its business.”
